ZX facing and contouring heads machine large parts on horizontal boring machines with a CNC inner programmable quill.

Multiple operations can be performed in one set-up, or with a minimum number of tool changes.

The heads have a single tool slide on which top tooling is mounted into qualified locating holes, for repeatable set-ups.

The tools can perform boring, facing, O.D. turning, chamfering, grooving, recessing, taper boring, and other operations.

Internal coolant is optional.
